Description

A project for Art class in 9th grade. As I am a very slow artist, it took me a long time. -.- However, I'm happy with the result, except that the hood is about an inch to far to the right...sigh. Also, I notice now that the brown spot on her nose is way too brown and vivid. Bleh. I started with her eyes, and, when I did, the markers happened to be rather new. Consequently, they bled and made bigger dots than expected, causing the eyes to be much less detailed and much messier than the rest of the face. However, I think it makes them stand out more, which is a key feature of the original picture.

I realize now, upon looking at the original and at other versions, that I didn't do a very good job on her skin color at all. It's not rich enough. Also, I should probably have done the background...seeing as I did color the green part in her hood where there are holes.

Notice that the bottom right corner looks weird. When I was trimming the piece of paper with that big cutter thing, I accidentally let it slip and cut off the corner...hehe...=D

Duuude, love it!!! I've been actually thinking of tackling this photo. Great job seriously, and so what if you were off here and there. You're not a camera!
